TRUMP: WASHINGTON WANTS TO RESOLVE THE UKRAINIAN CRISIS

WASHINGTON, JUNE 20 /SRNA/ – The United States wants to bring the conflict in Ukraine to an end and will continue working toward that goal, U.S. President Donald Trump said.

“We are trying to end that war. I would like to see it finished. I thought it might be the easiest of all issues to resolve, but it has turned out to be a little more difficult. Nevertheless, we will succeed in bringing it to an end,” Trump said during remarks at Joint Base Andrews near Washington.

Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday and stated on that occasion that Ukraine is suffering heavy losses and that he wants to help bring the conflict to an end.
