LAVROV: RUSSIA WILL CONTINUE SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 12 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – Russia remains open to negotiations on resolving the conflict in Ukraine but will not halt its military operation while the talks are under way, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated.

"We remain ready for negotiations, but we will not halt the special military operation while the talks are ongoing," Lavrov told reporters on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in New Delhi.

He added that the offer to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to come to Moscow for talks was a major gesture of goodwill.
