STEVANDIĆ: SERBS - HUNGARIANS RELATIONS AT THEIR BEST EVER

BUDAPEST, FEBRUARY 25 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić says Serbs - Hungarians relations have never been at a higher level and are currently experiencing their best days.

"We are grateful for this to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Speaker of Parliament Laszlo Kover. The goal is for representatives of the Self-Government of Serbs to visit the Republika Srpska National Assembly. It is an honour to have the opportunity to host them and, in a way, formalize our cultural, educational, and historical ties, as well as future-oriented connections in the fields of economy and economic cooperation and development," Stevandić told the press in Budapest.

After the meeting, he emphasized that visits to the Self-Government of Serbs in Hungary have already become a traditional activity.

Deputy President of the Self-Government of Serbs in Hungary, Andrej Rockov, expressed hope that the initiated cooperation would continue and stressed that their doors are always open to representatives of Republika Srpska.

"We are always pleased when guests from our homeland visit us, and we feel a mutual connection. We gladly accepted the invitation to visit Republika Srpska in May," Rockov said.
