TRUMP’S STATEMENT ON NEW UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT HISTORIC

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 10 /SRNA/ – Kirill Dmitriev, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s special envoy for foreign investment and economic cooperation, welcomed US President Donald Trump’s statement that "Ukraine needs a new president".

"President Trump has joined many others who believe that Ukraine needs leadership that is genuinely focused on peace, rather than the warmongering pursued by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy," Dmitriev posted on X.

He described Trump’s statement as historic.

Earlier today, the US president said that Zelenskyy could have reached, and had the opportunity to reach, "many deals, and for some reason he never did".

Trump called on the Ukrainian president to stop attacks on Russian oil refineries and energy infrastructure.
