MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 7 /SRNA/ – Moscow highly values the peace efforts of U.S. negotiators, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
He stressed that every attempt to establish contact regarding Ukraine conflict-related solution represents a step forward toward peace.
"For now, we have no information about the outcome of the contact between our American colleagues and officials in Kyiv," Peskov said.
He noted that Moscow does not rule out the possibility of resuming negotiations in the Russia-US-Ukraine format, but that it is too early to discuss the venue and timing.
Russian President Vladimir Putin met at the Kremlin on Saturday with U.S. President's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
The participants in the three-hour meeting included Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov and Russian Direct Investment Fund CEO Kirill Dmitriev, who is the President's special representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, RIA Novosti recalls. /
