AROUND 62 PERCENT OF REGISTERED VOTERS CAST THEIR BALLOTS BY 3:00 P.M.

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 25 /SRNA/ - By 3:00 p.m., around 62 percent of voters registered to vote at polling stations in BiH cast their ballots in the elections for the new composition of the National Assembly of Serbia, the Serbian Embassy in Sarajevo told SRNA.

At the polling station at the Embassy, 52.80 percent of the 1,339 registered voters had voted by that time.

The Embassy said the early parliamentary elections in Serbia were proceeding without any problems at all 28 polling stations in BiH, where around 19,800 voters are eligible to vote.

Noting that people are patiently waiting in line at some polling stations to exercise their right to vote, the Embassy said that everyone who is at a polling station by 8:00 p.m. will be allowed to cast their ballot.

Serbian citizens who live or work in BiH, as well as dual citizens who have submitted an application to vote, are eligible to vote today at polling stations in BiH for the new composition of the National Assembly of Serbia.

Polling stations opened at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m.
