MODI PROPOSES 10 INITIATIVES TO REFORM GLOBAL GOVERNANCE

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 12 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has proposed developing 10 initiatives to reform global governance system.

"I propose that we jointly develop 10 proposals to reform the international governance system," Modi said at the BRICS summit.

He said the proposals could be prepared as a roadmap to be presented at the next summit.

Modi noted that reform of the UN Security Council could no longer be delayed, stressing that negotiations on the issue must have a clear timeline and produce concrete results.

The 18th BRICS summit is being held in New Delhi today and tomorrow.
