LEITER: HAMAS SYSTEMATICALLY VIOLATING TRUMP’S PEACE PLAN FOR GAZA

WASHINGTON, AUGUST 18 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – Palestinian militant group Hamas is systematically violating US President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan for the Gaza Strip, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter said.

"Hamas is systematically violating President Trump’s 20-point peace plan by continuing military activities and rebuilding its military capabilities," Leiter posted on X.

According to him, the group has violated the ceasefire 229 times since August 3.

The ambassador also claimed that the armed group is refusing to disarm, smuggling firearms into the enclave, and rebuilding and expanding its underground military infrastructure.

Leiter added that Hamas keeps recruiting and training operatives, preparing new attacks against the Israel Defence Forces, and planting improvised explosive devices targeting Israeli forces.
