MILIĆ: WE EXPRESS OUR SOLIDARITY WITH ITALIAN PEOPLE

BRČKO, OCTOBER 29 /SRNA/ – Brčko District Mayor Siniša Milić sent a message of condolence to Italy’s Ambassador to BiH, Sarah Eti Castellani, and EUFOR Commander Major General Maurizio Fronda following the deaths of four Italian EUFOR members in a helicopter crash near Brčko.

"We share the pain of all those who have lost their loved ones and express our solidarity with the Italian people during these difficult moments. Our thoughts are with the families of the deceased, the injured and all members of the EUFOR mission, to whom we extend our respect and support," Milić stated in the message.

Milić extended his condolences in his own name, on behalf of the District Government and on behalf of Brčko residents, asking that the message be conveyed to the families of the deceased, their colleagues and friends.

The Brčko mayor wished the injured a swift and successful recovery and the bereaved families the strength to cope with their irreparable loss.

Four Italian EUFOR members were killed and 11 injured when a helicopter crashed in the Gorice neighbourhood of Brčko.
