GOGANOVIĆ: WE SHARE GRIEF OF FRIENDLY ITALIAN PEOPLE

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 29 /SRNA/ – Deputy Minister of Defence in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic EUFOR helicopter crash near Brčko, in which members of the international military mission lost their lives.

"I received the news of the tragic deaths of the Italian soldiers with great sadness. I extend my sincerest condolences to the families of the deceased, the EUFOR commander and all members of the mission, wishing the injured a swift and successful recovery," Goganović told SRNA.

Goganović stressed that EUFOR is an important partner and that its personnel makes a significant contribution to preserving peace, security and stability.

"In these difficult moments, our thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives and with the friendly Italian people. We share their grief and express our full solidarity with the EUFOR mission," Goganović said.

Four Italian EUFOR members were killed and 11 injured when a helicopter crashed in the Gorice neighbourhood of Brčko.
