VIŠKOVIĆ: WORLD LOSES GREAT LEADER

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 21 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković said that with the death of Pope Francis, the world lost a great spiritual leader, whose words and deeds left a deep mark in times of challenges and divisions.

"The world has lost a great spiritual leader. His legacy remains a lasting message of peace, dialogue and hope," Višković said in a condolence telegram to the Vatican, the Archbishop Tomo Vukšić of Vrhbosna and all the faithful of the Roman Catholic Church on the occasion of the death of Pope Francis.

He stated that in these moments of sadness, the pain is shared with the Catholic faithful and he expresses respect for the Pope, who with his life witnessed the universal value of humanity, solidarity and love for loved ones.

Pope Francis died this morning in the Vatican, after a long battle with respiratory and kidney diseases.
