TRIŠIĆ-BABIĆ: WE ARE CLOSER THAN EVER TO ENDING INTERNATIONAL POLITICAL SUPERVISION

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA/ – Director of the Republika Srpska International Cooperation Office Ana Trišić-Babić welcomed the message from US representative to the UN Tammy Bruce that local leaders in BiH should assume responsibility for governing the country, as well as the position expressed by Russian Ambassador to the UN Vasily Nebenzya that the OHR should be closed.

"We believe that we are closer than ever to ending international political supervision," the Office said in a statement posted on X.

At a UN Security Council session, US Deputy Ambassador to the UN Tammy Bruce stressed, among other things, that the USA is calling on Acting High Representative Louis Crishock to direct the BiH authorities to assume full responsibility for internal affairs.

Nebenzya said, among other things, that the OHR is being shamefully used in BiH as an instrument for interfering in the internal affairs of a sovereign country and for controlling its legislation, judiciary, law enforcement agencies and electoral institutions.
