ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA/ – Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović stressed the importance of growing understanding being confirmed at the UN Security Council session that political issues in BiH must be resolved through internal agreement rather than externally imposed solutions.
"Republika Srpska remains committed to preserving peace, stability and the constitutional position of the constituent peoples, who should shape the future of BiH through dialogue," Cvijanović emphasised.
She pointed out that the UN Security Council session had unfolded in a manner that did not meet the expectations of those who, following the OHR report, had sought to create and provoke tensions.
"There was a clear distinction between those advocating perpetual interventions and those calling for an end to the era of unconstitutional impositions," Cvijanović posted on X.
Commenting on the address by Bosniak BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović at the Security Council session, Cvijanović said that his speech had not been agreed upon within the Presidency, therefore represented solely his personal political position.
