BANJA LUKA, MAY 24 /SRNA/ - The President of United Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, emphasized that Serbian unity should preserve the Serbian people and that today's Assembly of that political party in Banja Luka is a small gathering of representatives from the strongest Serbian parties.
Stevandić emphasized that the togetherness of the Serbian people is an unbreakable obstacle to defeat, because the Serbian people paid for their freedom with their lives.
"Unlike those who write history with mud today, we wrote ours with tears, and tears are always the purest thing a human being has," Stevandić pointed out.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska continues the fight for independent decision-making regarding its constitutional rights and property, aware that the Serbian question is not yet finished because they are still trying to individually break, deceive, and turn Serbs against each other.
In his address at the Assembly of United Srpska, Stevandić emphasized that the Serbian people are one organism, one faith, script, soul, and culture.
"Serbian unity should preserve the Serbian people and our children, and our motherland Serbia should keep us all together. Our responsibility will raise us above all vanities, interests, populism, and fanaticism and lead us toward togetherness, love, and victory," said Stevandić, adding that enemies sharpen their knives on Serbian disunity.
He said that together with SNSD President Milorad Dodik, he has been through a lot, including an arrest warrant, and that the enemy did not scare or paralyze them, but rather motivated them.
"They have not subjugated us, they will not defeat us," Stevandić said, sending a message to keep hands off Republika Srpska, its property, and the rights of the Serbian people.
He stated that Republika Srpska does not have a plan for secession or independence, and that this is a lie spread to isolate it, impose sanctions, and destroy it.
"Although we do not have that plan, independence could be a consequence of the torture over the institutions of Srpska, elected officials, and attempts to take away our rights and property," Stevandić said.
