BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić thanked Russian Ambassador to the UN Vasily Nebenzya for clearly expressing his positions at the UN and for supporting respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement and the constitutional position of Republika Srpska.
"It is important for us that it is made clear that Republika Srpska has upheld the Dayton and proposed solutions through dialogue. Our commitment remains unchanged – preserving peace, protecting the Republika Srpska competences and reaching agreements among local representatives, while respecting the rights of all three constituent peoples," Minić stated.
He stressed that the future of BiH must remain in the hands of its peoples and elected representatives in the institutions.
"Only in this way can we build trust and ensure lasting stability," Minić posted on X.
At today's UN Security Council session, Nebenzya said, among other things, that Western countries had created problems in BiH and are now trying to blame Republika Srpska, which has made determined efforts to defend the Dayton Peace Agreement.
