BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić says hat the time has come for the truth that Republika Srpska is presenting to the world about the situation in BiH.

Commenting on US Congresswoman Celeste Maloy's request to the US Office of Foreign Assets Control /OFAC/ to investigate the interference of Christian Schmidt and the Central Election Commission of BiH in democratic processes in Republika Srpska, Minić emphasized that everyone knows what happened and that it is good that the issue is being discussed.

"We are trying to present the truth to the world, and the time has come for the way Schmidt, as well as the high representatives, operate to be reviewed. However, I do not expect anything spectacular. Everyone knows what happened, and it is good that this is being discussed," Minić told the press in Banja Luka.

He said that nothing good can be expected from the speech by BiH Ambassador to the UN Zlatko Lagumdžija at the session in New York, because an undisguised hostility toward Republika Srpska from political Sarajevo is evident.

"That is why there is an open political struggle in BiH. From Lagumdžija's speech, one can expect exactly the same as from the ministers in the Council of Ministers, Elmedin Konaković and Zukan Helez," Minić told the press in Banja Luka.

He asked whether it is possible for someone to say that Republika Srpska should be abolished and face no sanctions whatsoever.

"When we say that Republika Srpska should be preserved, we are threatened with sanctions. We are trying to ignore the hostility coming from Sarajevo as much as possible," Minić said.
