DODIK: INCOMPLETE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT PUSHES BiH TOWARD DISINTEGRATION

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 23 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik has said that the actions of the incomplete Constitutional Court of BiH are unconstitutional, anti-Dayton and disgraceful, stressing that the court will no longer shape decisions for Republika Srpska, while it has instead shaped the breakup of BiH.

"The court resembles less a judicial body and more a café visited by certain ambassadors, who come and go at will and even interrupt sessions several times in order to secure political decisions," Dodik wrote on the social media platform X.

He stated that the British and German ambassadors are constantly present at the so-called Constitutional Court, as if they were stationed there.

"When this is added to the fact that one of the foreign judges comes from Germany, it comes to unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of BiH and conduct that falls outside the bounds of diplomatic code," Dodik stressed.

According to him, the Constitutional Court, which has seven judges instead of the prescribed nine and is therefore automatically unconstitutional, and which changes its rules at will, is the greatest gravedigger of BiH.

"It is precisely this quasi-institution that has made BiH an impossible state, creating cracks that cannot be repaired and instead lead toward the disintegration of BiH. Paying attention to their decisions has become pointless, as those decisions are more than absurd," Dodik pointed out.

He added that this body is not a court, let alone a constitutional one, but a political organization.

"It simply lacks the courage to participate in elections and instead, hiding behind judicial robes, seeks to shape political life. You will no longer tailor Republika Srpska, but you have tailored the breakup of BiH," Dodik stated.

A session of the incomplete Constitutional Court of BiH, at which a request for a review of the constitutionality of the election of the previous Government of Republika Srpska, led by Prime Minister Savo Minić, was to be considered, had been scheduled for yesterday.

The new Government of Republika Srpska, also headed by Minić, officially took office today.
