TANKER HIT BY PROJECTILE IN STRAIT OF HORMUZ

LONDON, AUGUST 30 /SRNA-Reuters/ – A tanker was hit by an unknown projectile while sailing through the Strait of Hormuz, the British Maritime Trade Operations agency said.

The agency said the incident occurred 22 kilometres north of the Omani city of Khasab.

There were no reports of casualties or environmental impact, the agency said.
