BIJELJINA, October 22 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik says he will stand firmly in defense of Republika Srpska and himself, but emphasized that he has never advocated for conflict.
“The key is to preserve peace and stability,” Dodik said at the public forum “Conversation with the President” in Bijeljina.
He highlighted that the Republika Srpska police force has been renewed, but it was necessary to strengthen it, noting that the police school is reopened as it is essential for Republika Srpska to have law enforcement.
“We have preserved peace, remained stable, and avoided chaos. Muslims are blinded by hatred toward Serbs, I’m not speaking about Muslims as individuals, but about the Muslim politics in BiH,” Dodik said.
He added that he would never harm anyone because of their religious beliefs.
Dodik also reminded what had been offered to the opposition, which they refused, and claimed that they are incapable of forming a government.
“Governance is a serious matter. They thought it had to be the way internationals say, but as you can see that is not the case,” he said.
He emphasized that the younger generations are more patriotic than people assume.
“They love Republika Srpska, this region, the people. That’s the future. If it weren’t for that, what would be the point of what we’re doing? They care about this, which is a success for all of us,” said Dodik.
He emphasizes that Republika Srpska has overcome its most difficult period, which is the last year.
“We will do everything to boost it through investments. We have friends, we are not alone,” Dodik concluded.
