TRUMP ANNOUNCES NEW SUBSTANTIAL TARIFFS ON EU IMPORTS

WASHINGTON, JULY 24 /SRNA/ - The US will impose new substantial tariffs on EU imports and wants Brussels to reverse the penalties imposed on US technology giants, US President Donald Trump announced.

"The EU will pay a very high price for such illegal and unethical behavior that I have consistently warned them about," Trump wrote on Truth Social, commenting on the EU's decision to fine Google almost a billion dollars.

Trump stated that the penalties would be completely reversed and that he expected the introduction of large tariffs as soon as possible.

He described the EU's actions as illegal and highly discriminatory.

Trump emphasized that such a practice, which began during the term of former US President Joseph Biden, would not continue during the term of his administration.
