DODIK: GRANNAS HAS NO SAY IN CHOICE OF HIGH REPRESENTATIVE

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik told German Ambassador to BiH Alfred Grannas that he had no say in the selection of the High Representative and urged him to stop misleading the public.

Dodik said he had already told Grannas that he either did not know how to read or was deliberately lying.

"Now I am telling him: You have no say when it comes to the selection of the High Representative. In the Peace Implementation Council, those of you who remain can reach a consensus on whether to order a hamburger or ćevapi, while the High Representative is chosen by the parties to the Dayton Peace Accords and confirmed by the UN Security Council," Dodik wrote on social media platform X.

Dodik pointed out that Germany is not a member of the UN Security Council and added that it was extremely discourteous and diplomatically unacceptable to abuse the hospitality of the country hosting Grannas and interfere in its internal affairs.

"It is particularly inappropriate to lecture publicly the domestic politicians elected by the people. So I will tell you once again - mind your own business and stop misleading and lying to the public," Dodik said.
