BELGRADE, AUGUST 28 /SRNA/ – Milorad Dodik, president of Srpska, has stated today that the early presidential elections called by the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH will be completely boycotted, emphasizing that this is not a rebellion but a political response to their political attempt.
Dodik explained that boycotting any elections is legitimate, stressing that no one in Srpska is currently demanding elections.
"This is an attempt to show that they are an occupation authority that can do whatever it wants whenever it wants, including removing a democratically elected president and imposing elections simply because they do not like that president. We will not allow that! These elections will be completely boycotted," Dodik told Sputnik.
Dodik assessed that BiH is the last colony in Europe, that every type of war has been waged against Srpska for 30 years, and that it is very clear that international forces are occupying.
He noted that neither the so-called Peace Implementation Council /PIC/ nor the self-appointed foreigner in BiH is legal, while the government in Srpska is legitimate, describing the situation as a struggle of an illegitimate structure and foreigners against a legal one.
"They were arrogant, but we were persistent in opposing them; we did not want to be completely humiliated and literally abolished. If the people say at the referendum that this is not acceptable, then a referendum on independence will follow. But now we are moving toward this first referendum, which is binding for all institutions," Dodik stated.
He added that after this, there will be a month to adopt operational documents, one of which, immediately going to the Assembly, is a resolution on the people's right to self-determination as stated in the BiH Constitution.
"Once we pass that resolution, conditions will be created for holding the definitive referendum on independence. And I believe this is an unstoppable path," the president of Srpska stated.
Dodik emphasized that he will invite a number of international friends to observe the referendum and provide a new dimension of legitimacy.
He also stressed that the "Althea" mission is an armed occupation force in BiH and that it must be removed first.
"The fact is that many Muslims requested their deployment, and they paraded on the basis of these requests. We no longer want to witness that!" Dodik stressed.
Dodik assessed that Srpska has the potential to become a state and expects significant support from international friends who will recognize it and allow it to exist politically.
