MOSCOW AND KYIV EXCHANGE TEN PRISONERS EACH

MINSK, AUGUST 24 /SRNA/ - Russia and Ukraine exchanged 10 prisoners each in the Gomel Region in southeastern Belarus.

The mechanism that made the exchange possible was activated on the orders of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Belarusian television channel First Information reported.

The humanitarian mission was carried out in strict compliance with international law, the report said.
