BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 21 /SRNA/ – Dragan Dakić, international law adviser to Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker, said that foreign election observers in BiH had also noticed anomalies, including the imposition of the BiH Electoral Law by Christian Schmidt, his ban on financing the SNSD and United Srpska parties, and the Central Election Commission’s /CEC/ repressive approach to political expression.
Dakić, who will participate today in a session dedicated to international election observation at the OSCE headquarters in Vienna, said the meeting represents a continuation of struggle against Schmidt's legacy in BiH, as well as the continuation of a process initiated by National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić before the OSCE Mission to BiH, the National Assembly announced.
"The aforementioned anomalies were also noticed by foreign election observers in BiH and were included in a footnote in the OSCE's preliminary report. Our task today is to bring these issues to the forefront and try to find a solution within this forum," Dakić added.
