SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 29 /SRNA/ - Paying tribute in Sarajevo to Mušan Topalović Caco, who killed Sarajevo Serbs, is a descent into civilizational darkness, Đorđe Radanović, president of the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Serbs in the FBiH, told SRNA.
"People have gathered in Sarajevo to mark the 33rd anniversary of the killing of Mušan Topalović Caco, who filled the Kazani pit on the slopes of Mount Trebević with innocent Serb civilians," Radanović said.
The Kazani pit on the slopes of Mount Trebević above Sarajevo is one of the largest killing sites of Sarajevo Serbs, who were brutally murdered and thrown into this natural fissure in 1992 and 1993.
The Serbs were killed by members of the 10th Mountain Brigade of the so-called Army of BiH, commanded by Mušan Topalović, known as Caco, a pre-war Sarajevo criminal.
It is suspected that the bodies of more than 100 murdered Sarajevo Serbs were thrown into the pits on Mount Trebević.
Former members of the Green Berets paid tribute to Mušan Topalović Caco in Sarajevo three days ago.
