SAFE AND STABLE BiH SUCCESS FOR HIGH REPRESENTATIVE, EVEN IF IT MEANS THE OHR CLOSURE

NEW YORK, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA/ – Safe, stable and sovereign BiH is a success for the High Representative, even if that means abolishing the position, US Deputy Ambassador to the UN Tammy Bruce said.

Speaking at the second semi-annual UN Security Council session on BiH, she stressed that the USA is calling on Acting High Representative Louis Crishock to direct the authorities at the level of BiH to assume full responsibility for internal affairs.

During her address, Bruce emphasised that BiH is getting closer to fulfilling the commitments made under the Dayton Peace Agreement.

The report by Crishock, who is not attending today's session, was presented to the Security Council.
