ZELENSKY: UKRAINE WILL RESUME STRIKES ON RUSSIAN OIL REFINERIES

KYIV, OCTOBER 15 /SRNA/ – Ukraine will continue striking Russian oil refineries in response to Moscow's deadly attacks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

The Financial Times reported that Kyiv's announcement came after the Ukrainian leader accused US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk of restricting Ukrainian forces' access to SpaceX satellite technology.

Starlink satellite internet terminals operated by Musk's company are crucial for guiding Ukraine's long-range drones.

Zelensky told the Financial Times that he had paused strikes on oil refineries to honor an energy truce announced by Trump over the weekend, but that Moscow had continued targeting Ukrainian infrastructure.

Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Serhiy Sternenko said yesterday that Starlink satellite communications services had been disrupted across Ukraine overnight.
