VATICAN CITY, MAY 11 /SRNA/ - The Vatican Bank said in its 14th annual report on that it made a profit of 51 million euros in 2025, an increase of 55.5 per cent with respect to the previous year.
"The significant increase in net profit was primarily driven by improved operating performance, reflecting active and disciplined portfolio management as well as favorable market conditions," the bank said in its report.
The report states that given the increased profitability, the assets of the Vatican Pension Fund have also increased.
It added that, given the results, Pope Leo XIV would get a dividend of 24.3 million euros.
