U.S. LAUNCHES NEW STRIKES ON IRAN TONIGHT

WASHINGTON, JULY 15 /SRNA/ - The United States has launched a second wave of strikes against Iran, the US Central Command /CENTCOM/ said.

"Tonight, we launched operations as part of the second wave of strikes against Iran. The strikes are targeting Iranian military capabilities used to threaten ships freely transiting the Strait of Hormuz, a vital international waterway for global trade," the command said in a post on X.

U.S. President Donald Trump earlier told reporters that he did not plan to give Iran a "deadline" before launching new attacks.

"I don't like to give deadlines, but Iran knows what it needs to do. They better behave themselves," Trump said.

The US president reiterated that Iranian officials want to meet with US representatives, despite Tehran denying such claims earlier today.
