DUNBEG, SEPTEMBER 13 /SRNA-Reuters/ – US President Donald Trump has urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to stop attacking Russian infrastructure for diesel fuel.
"We have spoken to Mr Zelensky about this. There are plenty of other targets. Don't target diesel," Trump told reporters during his visit to Ireland.
He added that Ukraine must stop destroying diesel fuel infrastructure in Russia.
Commenting on the situation in the Middle East, Trump reiterated his expectation that the war in Iran would end this year, probably soon after the US elections in November, which he said would lead to lower fuel prices.
"Gas prices will fall like a rock," the US president told reporters at the Irish Open golf tournament.
Trump added that Iran wants a deal and has repeatedly been making calls to discuss one.
"They have to make a real deal. I don't want to make a deal that isn’t good," Trump said.
