TRUMP UNVEILS DESIGN OF NEW U.S. PASSPORT

WASHINGTON, JUNE 27 /SRNA/ – U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled the design of a new U.S. passport featuring his portrait to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence.

"The new U.S. passport reads: 'Welcome, but behave yourselves!'" Trump posted on the Truth Social social media platform.

The image shared by Trump features his portrait framed by the text of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, signed in 1776, along with elements of the American flag. The gold-embossed design is completed with Trump's personal signature.

The second page of the passport features an engraving based on Declaration of Independence, a painting by American artist John Trumbull, with the inscription "United States of America 250" at the bottom.

The U.S. Department of State announced in April that it would issue a series of limited-edition passports with a special design, including an official portrait of Trump.
