TRUMP PROMISES $5,000 PAYOUT IF REPUBLICANS WIN

WASHINGTON, SEPTEMBER 10 /SRNA/ – U.S. President Donald Trump said that every adult U.S. citizen would receive $5,000 if Republicans retain control of both chambers of Congress in the November elections.

“If Republicans win, you win with us and you get $5,000,” Trump said at a Republican Party convention in Dallas, adding that the payment would be called the “Trump dividend”.

Trump said the payment would be made if Republicans retain their majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives.

He said the payment would be possible because of the enormous success of the U.S. economy.

He compared the payment to a profit-sharing scheme at a company, saying that the money would have to be spent in the United States.

One trillion dollars would have to be set aside for the payments, which is almost the same as the country’s military budget.

Last year, Trump proposed a $2,000 payment, but the plan was not implemented.

In the November 3 elections, Americans will elect one-third of the Senate and the entire House of Representatives.
