TRUMP LINKS PROTESTS TO MASS MIGRATION AND ISLAM

PARIS, OCTOBER 6 /SRNA/ - US President Donald Trump blamed the student protests in France on "mass migration" and on Islam, which he said was seeking to take control.

"What is happening in France is nothing less than uncontrolled mass migration. This is not about schools, but about Islam seeking to take control of this once-great country," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

Demonstrations were held today in Paris and other major French cities. According to police figures, 256,000 people took part.

Protesters are demanding better funding and working conditions in high schools.

A 15-year-old boy lost a hand in northern France yesterday when a stun grenade exploded, while a 16-year-old in Tours lost an eye after being struck by a projectile.
