RECONNAISSANCE PLANE FLIES FOUR-AND-A-HALF-HOUR MISSION OVER KALININGRAD

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 6 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ - US Artemis II reconnaissance aircraft returned to its base in Romania after spending four and a half hours circling over Russia's Kaliningrad region.

The aircraft departed from the Mihail Kogalniceanu base in Romania and returned there after completing the mission.

The business jet was modified by US company Leidos to meet radar reconnaissance requirements.

The aircraft is regularly used for flights around the Kaliningrad region and over the Black Sea along Crimea and other regions in southern Russia.
