TRUMP: EXTREMELY POSITIVE AND PRODUCTIVE MEETINGS IN CHINA

BEIJING, MAY 14 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ – Meetings with Chinese representatives were extremely positive and productive, US President Donald Trump said.

During a reception organised in Beijing on the occasion of his state visit to China, Trump stated that he received "a magnificent welcome unlike anything experienced anywhere else".

"Because of such gracious hospitality during this very historic state visit, earlier today we had exceptionally positive and productive talks and meetings with the Chinese delegation, while tonight is another valuable opportunity to discuss among friends some of the matters we talked about today as well," Trump said.

He emphasized that relations between the United States and China are among the most important in the world, describing his visit to China as historic.

Trump invited Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife to visit the White House on September 24.
