TRUMP: DEAL WITH TEHRAN MUST BE "GOOD AND PROPER ONE"

WASHINGTON, MAY 25 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - US President Donald Trump said that the deal between the United States and Iran will be "a good and proper one," or there will be no deal at all.

He wrote on Truth Social that the deal with Tehran will be exact opposite of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action /JCPOA/, negotiated by "failed administration of the former US President Barack Obama".

Trump assessed that the JCPOA, signed in 2015, was "a direct and open path to a nuclear weapon for Iran".

"Unlike those before me who should have solved this problem many years ago, I don’t make bad deals," Trump concluded.
