MOSCOW, JULY 23 /SRNA/ – Three Russian citizens have been detained in the Luhansk People’s Republic on suspicion of committing treason by collecting military intelligence for Ukraine, the Federal Security Service /FSB/ said.
The three individuals, born in 1963, 1969 and 1977, are suspected of acting on instructions from Ukrainian agents, collecting military information independently of one another and passing it on to their handlers.
They also collected information about the socio-political situation in the region and members of the territorial executive authorities.
According to the FSB, a criminal investigation is ongoing, and the suspects will remain in custody while the investigation continues.
