TRUMP HAS NOT MADE A DECISION ON STRIKES AGAINST IRAN

WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 31 /SRNA/ - U.S. President Donald Trump has not made a decision on whether to resume strikes against Iran, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.

"He has not made a decision. I have no statement on that for you today," Rubio told a news conference following the G20 foreign ministers' meeting.

Rubio stressed that Trump had not taken military action lightly and would prefer to find a diplomatic way out of the conflict with Iran, Baha reported.

"We can achieve our military objectives if we set out to do so. He has not made a decision, and we are not taking any of this lightly. The President would prefer not to do it that way. If he had wanted to, he would have done it weeks or months ago. He would prefer to resolve this diplomatically," Rubio told reporters.
