TERRORISM INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED OVER MOSCOW DRONE ATTACKS

MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 20 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ – Russia's Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on terrorism charges over Ukrainian drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in Moscow and the Moscow region, committee spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko said.

"The Russian Investigative Committee will identify everyone involved in this inhumane act of terrorism. Their actions will be given the appropriate legal assessment," Petrenko said.

She added that investigators and forensic experts were working at the scene.

Ukrainian forces carried out a large-scale drone attack overnight on civilian facilities in Moscow and the Moscow region.

There were fatalities and injuries, while residential buildings as well as industrial and logistics infrastructure were damaged.
