TEHRAN LAUNCHED MISSILES AT US BASES

TEHRAN, SEPTEMBER 1 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - The Iranian Armed Forces announced that they have launched missiles at US bases in the Middle East region in response to an attack by US forces.

"We will strike the American enemy fiercely," stated the Iranian forces, as reported by the Tasnim news agency.

The Iranian military stated that it will no longer show restraint toward Bahrain and Kuwait, adding that their "gifts are on the way."

The US Central Command announced earlier in the day that US forces were carrying out strikes on Iran.

Later in the day, Iranian media reported a series of explosions near Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as near the cities of Bandar Abbas, Jask, and Sirik in the Hormozgan province.
