TEENAGERS PLANNED ATTACK ON MILITARY FACILITY IN PRIMORSKY KRAI

MOSCOW, AUGUST 6 /SRNA/ – Russia's Federal Security Service /FSB/ announced that it had arrested three teenagers who, acting on instructions from their handlers, gathered intelligence on military personnel and planned a terrorist attack on a facility belonging to the Russian National Guard /Rosgvardiya/ in Primorsky Krai.

"The Federal Security Service of Russia in Primorsky Krai has thwarted the illegal activities of three teenagers who, acting on the instructions of representatives of a terrorist organization banned in Russia, were planning to carry out a terrorist attack," the FSB said in a statement.

According to the FSB, the suspects, following orders from their handler, collected information about law enforcement officers who had taken part in the special military operation.

"The information gathered included the places of residence and work of military personnel, the vehicles and parking spaces they used, surveillance cameras installed at their homes and neighboring buildings, as well as locations near entrances that would allow the covert placement of explosive devices for the purpose of carrying out sabotage and a terrorist attack on one of the Rosgvardiya facilities," the FSB said.
