MOSCOW, NOVEMBER 6 /SRNA/ – Supplies of Russian diesel to global energy markets will contribute to their stabilization, Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department for Economic Cooperation at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said.
"Under the current conditions of growing macroeconomic turbulence, additional supplies of Russian diesel to global energy markets will undoubtedly help stabilize them, although they will not be able to fully eliminate the accumulated deficit," Birichevsky told RIA Novosti.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously said that Russian diesel fuel would find buyers under agreements reached earlier.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump reached an agreement on the export of Russian diesel on October 9.
