ATHENS, NOVEMBER 2 /SRNA/ - A red alert has been declared in seven Greek regions due to cyclone "Agneta", which is bringing heavy rain, storms and an increased risk of flooding, the General Secretariat for Civil Protection said.

Greek portal "Kathimerini" writes that the red alert covers the Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western, Central and Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the North Aegean and the Dodecanese.

The National Meteorological Service warned of heavy rain and storms accompanied by hail.

On the island of Samos, firefighters helped passengers whose bus was trapped on the road by a landslide.

On Rhodes, firefighters rescued four people from a car trapped in a flash flood.

Bad weather is also forecast for tomorrow, mainly in western and northern Greece and the eastern Aegean.
