SEOUL, NOVEMBER 2 /SRNA/ - The private data of South Korean President Lee Jae-Myung was available online to the general public for several months, local media reported today.
South Korea's state broadcaster KBS reported that the leaked data included the president's passport number, date of birth and details of the travel document's validity.
According to KBS, the president was not the only one affected, as the data also covered his wife, security advisers, office staff, bodyguards, his personal physician and several journalists.
The data was available on a payment platform in an "Excel" file titled "List of passengers on the route from Korea to Belgium".
The media believe it is the passenger list of the presidential plane during Lee Jae-Myung's visit to Europe in June.
