PUTIN SUPPORTS IDEA OF NEURAL NETWORK FOR EDUCATION

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 5 /SRNA/ - Russian President Vladimir Putin has supported a proposal to create an artificial intelligence-based network that would bring together all the teaching resources and materials needed in the educational process.

"The idea is absolutely right. We need a single platform and network that would bring together all the necessary resources for conducting classes," Putin said.

He noted that such a neural network could contain standardised curricula and textbooks, while helping teachers and students navigate the comprehensive platform.

Putin met today with teachers who have received national awards. One of the educators, a computer science teacher, proposed creating a neural network for educational purposes.

He explained that such an artificial intelligence system could be tailored to educational objectives and trained on the basis of standardised curricula and educational programmes.
