MOSCOW AND WASHINGTON DISCUSS COOPERATION IN DATA CENTRE SECTOR

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 16 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – Russia and the United States are discussing cooperation in the data centre sector, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and the Russian president’s special envoy for international economic cooperation, has said.

"We are discussing joint Russian-American projects in the field of data centres, including the use of our nuclear power plants," Dmitriev said on the sidelines of Russian Energy Week.

He added that Moscow and Washington would announce several initiatives soon.

"As the example of diesel fuel shows, I think we will announce some important initiatives in the near future. After all, things are finally starting to move forward," he added.
