MINSK: NATO PREPARING AGGRESSION AGAINST BELARUS

MINSK, OCTOBER 14 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - NATO is preparing the ground for military escalation and aggression against Belarus under the guise of defense, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said. The Ministry said Minsk remained committed to de-escalation, stressing that Belarus had never threatened anyone and that its military doctrine was purely defensive in nature. "We consistently advocate openness, de-escalation and dialogue on an equal footing. We call on our Western colleagues to exercise sound judgment and begin working together to restore mutual trust," the Ministry said.
