MEGHAN MARKLE'S FATHER ARRESTED

LONDON, NOVEMBER 6 /SRNA/ – Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has been arrested in the United States on suspicion of possessing child sexual abuse material, US media reported today.

According to media reports, Markle was reported to police in the Philippines and to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation last month by his son, Thomas Markle Jr. The son handed over a cache of child abuse images he had found among his father's belongings in the city of Cebu.

The media said a second batch of images was found last week in a storage unit that Thomas Markle Sr. rented near his home in Rosarito, Mexico.

Markle Sr. has admitted paying for sex in the Philippines but denies ever possessing child abuse material and calls the accusations "sick lies."

Britain's The Independent reported that Meghan Markle was "deeply affected" by the accusations against her father.
