KALUŽA: SRPSKA MAINTAINING SINCERE FRIENDSHIP WITH ISRAEL IMPORTANT

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska has a sincere friendship with Israel, which understands and recognizes its history, present and future, international relations expert Luciano Kaluža told SRNA.

He pointed out that Israel is one of the world’s most politically influential countries when it comes to geopolitics.

"Israel is a country that, through its economic and political influence, as well as its military capabilities, has positioned itself as one of the most influential countries in the world and provides support to Republika Srpska and its institutions," Kaluža stressed.

Kaluža is emphasizing this is a major success for Republika Srpska.

He assessed that much of the credit for this goes to the Republika Srpska International Cooperation Office, which was established to develop this type of relationship.

"The establishment of this office is a benefit for Republika Srpska," Kaluža said, pointing to the importance of developing a strong friendship with the State of Israel.

President Milorad Dodik and Acting Director of the Republika Srpska International Cooperation Office Ana Trišić-Babić are in Jerusalem today, where they will meet with Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem, attend a commemoration marking ten years since the death of former Israeli President and Prime Minister Shimon Peres, and attend a reception marking the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States.
