LUGANSK, MAY 24 /SRNA/ - Authorities of the Lugansk People’s Republic /LPR/ have identified all students killed in a Ukrainian military attack on a student dormitory in Starobelsk, RIA Novosti reports.

The list published by the LPR authorities confirms the identities of 21 deceased students born between 2003 and 2008.

The Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations has announced that search-and-rescue operations have been completed.

According to the ministry’s data, 21 people were killed, and 42 were injured.

A two-day mourning period has been declared in the Lugansk People’s Republic.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia will respond sharply to the Ukrainian military attack on a student dormitory in the Lugansk People’s Republic.

“The drug addict and his Banderite gang provoked a sharp Russian response with terrorist attacks on children,” Medvedev wrote on the Max platform.

Medvedev suggested that the Kyiv regime is deliberately carrying out mass strikes on facilities to facilitate obtaining money and weapons.

Ukrainian armed forces’ drones struck an academic building and a student dormitory at the Starobelsk Vocational College of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University during the night between May 21 and 22.
